Saumya and François Newborn Shoot

When Yohan Gautam-Renaud recently arrived at our studio, dragging Saumya and François in tow, we were delighted to discover that he was terribly excited for his second photo-shoot with us.

His first photo-shoot happened on 12 July 2014, with Centre Island as the backdrop and was a little disappointing for him because, quite frankly, he was still inside Saumya's beautiful belly.

But this time he was out and ready to go and nothing was going to stop him! This time he was ready to sparkle!

It was obvious to all of us there that his second moment in the spotlight was destined to become a memorable one. And none of us were disappointed. For baby Yohan shone as bright as a thousand suns and dazzled us all with his adorable cuteness!

The Wedding of Roxanne & Jeff - Saturday 16 August 2014

Froz'n Motion just returned home this evening after shooting the magnificent wedding of Roxanne and Jeff.

Nestled within the opulent splendor of the luscious Royal York Hotel, the wedding was as perfect as a story-book wedding was meant to be.

The Bride, ravishing in her long, embroidered and layered gown, shone brighter than a thousand suns as her special day unfolded in glorious perfection. Jeff the Groom, as tall as a downtown skyscraper, dressed in a traditional tux and accompanied by his 3 partners in crime, pulled off a masterful Prince Charming as few men can.

This was the kind of wedding that all engaged couple's eagerly desire, and young girls wish for since they were old enough to dream.

Behold! This was Roxanne and Jeff's fairy-tale wedding!

Alone/Not Alone...

13 August 2014 – Wednesday – Toronto, Canada.
It's been almost 4 years since my last blog post. Some would say I don't write enough, or that I'm lazy, or that I'm not at all prolific, or that, if I spent less time doing other stuff, I would have more time to do the important stuff, like writing here.

As we both know, all of these complaints are, sadly, kinda true.

The reason I've not posted much over the past few years is because I've been more busy clicking pics of other people than I ever have in my life. Last year, 2013, we performed 375 photo shoots. That's a hell lot. This year, by the end of July, we have shot over 300! And that's only 7 months into the year! We still have another 5 months to go!!

So that's all I'm going to say about that.

What I came here to discuss are two photos I took at Nathan Phillips Square who knows how long ago.

Alone and Not Alone.

I love these two shots. It's not often I say that.

While standing on the mezzanine looking out over the square, the patterned design of the fountains caught my eye. It was obviously shot during the summer months because the fountains are only turned on then.

What strikes me most about these two shots is where are all the people? I have no idea why everyone left so that I could collect these two images and go home.

But here they are.

Enjoy.
